El Mezquital Livesotck
Livestock El Mezquital is a project that stems from the need of Luis Montañez Acuña, migrant and a member of a club in Southern California, and its representative in Mexico who had the interest to partner to start a small business that allow you to improve their living conditions and contribute to job creation in their community. The project is funded by two thirds by the federal and state government through the 3×1 Program for Migrants , on the slope of productive projects .
By December 2013, the program funding 3×1 migrant has been used in 40% advance for the upgrading and expansion of infrastructure for handling cattle in pens and supplies , machinery required for execution. The project has been CODEMs services for developing your business plan and technical assistance .
- Lend a fattening calves with 32 head which is expected to release in over a period of 2-3 months marketing.
- Commercialize livestock, with the states of Guadalajara , Aguascalientes and Zacatecas .
- Achieve an increase in income of the members of the project, to improve the living standards of members and their families.
FEDZAC has supported the project with El Mezquital finance management , and tracking and monitoring before consulting with Federal and State government.
The expected impact is the generation of at least three employees, the revitalization of the local economy and the strengthening of family ties and improving the living conditions of the members of this family.
